  1. Sadly, yes. The depression rate among transgender people is actually very high, which is understandable, considering everything they are going through and the challenges they are facing. It is very common for transgender people to feel sadness, loneliness and isolation because the society never allows them to fully blend in, among other reasons. Anxiety is also very common among transgender people. And, unfortunately, the suicide rate among transgender people is alarmingly high.
